Happy Twelfth Day of Christmas.

Escept, maybe, not so much.

I'm not sure what happened, but I seem to have strayed. Without any definite goals (Christmas was a big one - and the daily writing a gigantic one), I've been left to my own devices. Which, of course, is so of the not good. Even M. thinks I need to set writing goals, again!

So, I started writing a Giles/Davies fic, because Giles is feeling lost, too. [My word, the man is such a copycat of me!] But it's got a kink that I have to be sure I'm describing in a flowing manner. So ... it's sitting here and staring at me.

On Thursday, I mentioned to Brian that I need to learn how to use Windows Movie Maker, so that I can take my fave bits from Kink and make one seamless ep. all about the Wesley look-a-like. And, if Ryan (of Kink) ever sees this, I want everyone to know that he's adorable! But ... I'm feeling overwhelmed. So, it's staring at me, too.

John picked up three of the Jasper Fforde books I'd ordered from the library. I've read one of the them and am partly through one other. But they're heavy suckers (large print), so they're staring at me too and hurting my wrists!

Yesterday, I entertained Michael at an early dinner (or late lunch). The evil one ([livejournal.com profile] tepintzin will know who it is) is still either in custody or under observation. Michael got rid of most of the Solzhenitzyn beard (thank goodness, because it was making him look haggard and ancient). Anyway, I asked him to keep me informed as to what happens in this not-so-much-fun soap opera.

M. is feeling down because of the not being able to ride horses thing right now. So, I'm investigating a sailing program that perhaps we can both do. And I'm leaning toward joining Curves. I'm impressed because I think (from the testimonials) they can tailor things to women who are not completely able bodied. Like, don't ask me to do anything with steps. [Evil, evil things.] Or moving without a support. But, right now, I think I'm just going to wait until the beg. of February. I didn't even realize it until Brian told me on Thursday that he's belonged to a fitness club for some time. [Aha! So that's why he looks so good.]

And I just came home a few minutes ago from the post office. I finally got my Brahms Symphonies 3 and 4 and a big box from the Shopping Channel. It's got all these studs that you can affix to almost anything. [Candles, purses, gloves, anyone?] I'm hoping that this bit of creativity will lift me up.

Anyway, I've also slipped away from reading others' LJ entries. So I've got to get back into my nosey mode. Except, maybe not right now. I think I'm just going to take the stud supplies and put them on the dining table. And, then, a nap sounds just fine.

So, I should get back in the swing of things some time this coming week.

Hugs to all,
Lost in Me.
