I know, what a refreshing change! First of all, my stylist thought I'd lost weight. Hey, if SHE says so …. One weird thing is that my body temp was a few degrees lower than normal. Um … what does that mean? In any case, I now have a gorgeous neck-length pageboy with a floof of curls on the left side. It's unique ('cuz it's from my imagination). It ws enough to make the drugstore checkout clerk ask with apparent embarrassment whether the Senior discount applied to me! Considering their Senior criterion is 15-20 years younger than my actual age … well, you get the gist.

My final act of rashness was buying lots of frou-frou coffee drinks and lovely fruit at the supermarket where a nice young man found me everything I wanted. After that, I still had 90 minutes to wait for my ride - which came early. What a relief to be back home.

I tried to email Brian about how happy I am about the iPad, but gmail was being stubborn and wouldn't connect. And, then, the iPad was being rebellious. Sigh. I'll thank him tomorrow. In any case, the exquisite sight faded, especially by this evening. Boo and hoo. But that didn't stop me from watching Jeopardy!, Young Sheldon, and two days' worth of Toronto news. Now I'm ready for bed. ::crosses fingers::
