The back spasms are excruciating and have been since - ugh - 2:22 a.m. The next time the pain staggered me? 4:18 a.m. Somehow, I managed to doze until the alarm at 6:25 a.m. But it's been a hell of a day, despite all the lovely things: driver showing up on time, an interesting chat at the bank on how to withdraw money when I can't use the ATM on my own, the glorious feeling of having my dreary hair dealt with by my sweet stylist, having an extra long soak before my pedicure. The apprentice is getting better as she only hurt me once. At least my toes look gorgeous with ivory polish and gold sparkle overlay.
And, yet, that all pales against the hideous pain. My driver was 20 minutes late for my return trip. I'd already had a couple bites of chocolate before swallowing another Robax. When I got in, SuM complimented me on my hair and I showed off my toes! Then I descended back into the pit of pain. I can't believe I actually watched last Sunday's service, hoping to still write a review. Silly, foolish blonde! I gave up on that, too, which means that posting tomorrow will be the longest delay since I began writing my reviews. But, then, I wasn't suffering as I am now.
I took another Robax about half an hour ago and all of my other supplements just now. I have to hope against hope that I will sleep - if only to compensate for last night. The stupid and frustrating thing? My vision has been excellent today! Was it the pampering or was it the pain? I dread to know. Sigh. Right now, I'm going to try to numb myself by watching a game show rerun. Sigh, again.
